Adam S. Ravenelle (born October 5, 1992) is an American professional baseball pitcher in the Detroit Tigers organization. He played college baseball for the Vanderbilt Commodores, where he was a member of the 2014 College World Series champions. ==Career== Ravenelle attended Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School in Sudbury, Massachusetts, where he played for the school's baseball team.〔 With Ravenelle, Lincoln-Sudbury won three consecutive league championships, and the Division I state championship in his senior year.〔 As a senior, ''The Boston Globe'' named him their Division I Player of the Year. The New York Yankees selected him in the 44th round, with the 1,349th overall selection of the 2011 MLB Draft. He opted not to sign with the Yankees, instead enrolling at Vanderbilt University, so that he could play college baseball for the Vanderbilt Commodores.〔 In 2014, his junior year, Ravenelle pitched to a 1.35 earned run average in 40 innings for the Commodores.〔 Ravenelle recorded the save in the deciding game of the 2014 College World Series.
